2007 - January - Tactile Texture Exhibit – November 1, 2006 – February 28, 2007. A Solo Exhibit of abstract paintings by Ron Floyd will be on display at Tz’s Market Place, a Gourmet Wine and Cheese venue in downtown Chandler. The 12 textured abstract paintings range in size from 4ft to 8ft and will also be on display for the upcoming 1^st Wednesday Chandler Art Walk of February 7^th http://www.tzmarketplace.com/

2007 - Underwater FantaSEA Exhibit – March 9^th – July 22, 2007, The Arizona Museum for Youth www.arizonamuseumforyouth.com . Ron Floyd joins an elite group of artists from a number of geographic regions of the United States that were selected to exhibit in this prestigious exhibit celebrating all there is to love about the living waters of the world. The museum will feature drawings, paintings, and multimedia pieces dedicated to highlighting the beauty of ocean life. Ron will have fish paintings and a fish sculpture on display.

2007 - Diversity Art Exhibit – February 1^st – March 1^st, 2006: Ron Floyd has been invited by the Collins College art faculty to participate in the upcoming juried Diversity Art Exhibit. to celebrate diversity, the Collins College Alumni Association is sponsoring an Alumni and Community Art Showcase of leading valley artists. CCAA is sponsoring this event to embrace and recognize the Valley’s diverse creative community and to raise awareness of Collins College as a school of design and technology. The Art Showcase will be on display in the lobby of the Phoenix and Tempe campuses through-out the month of February. www.collinscollege.edu

2007 - Chandler Art Guild 1^st Wednesday ArtWalk: The first Wednesday of each month starting on February 7th, 2007, Chandler will join Phoenix and Scottsdale in promoting downtown art walks. Ron Floyd, along with over 30 plus Guild artists will be displaying their fine art and fine crafts each month on the covered sidewalks of historic downtown Chandler. The historic district also includes several fine shops, restaurants, an art gallery, a gourmet wine and cheese shop, a winery and an ambiance not found in modern strip centers. The ArtWalk is free to the public and is open from 5pm till 9pm. Parking is free and abundant in the downtown historic district, and everything is within a short walking distance. Ron Floyd is the founder and president of the Chandler Art Guild, a non profit arts organization of over 70 artists in the East Valley www.chandlerartguild.org
